| Description: |
This article covers the problems of educational process implementation in higher technical education institutions under the current extraordinary conditions of the war situation all over the territory of Ukraine, the specificity of demands for self-study activities of future bachelors of machine-building specialties. It is mentioned that the educational process under such extraordinary conditions was forced to be switched to a 100 percent distance mode, which increased the pressure on the engineering students, especially on their self-study activities. The work focused on the problems of adaptation of training to the wartime realities, paying special attention to the educational activities that were gained during quarantine restrictions through the COVID-19 pandemic. The function of the requirement in the self-study activities of bachelor engineers and technicians in terms of their reorientation toward successful learning under crisis conditions is identified, which formed the ground for our study. To identify the level of requirement for self-learning activities, the survey was conductedamong future bachelors of engineering and construction specialties in the 2nd, 3rd years of study at the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» and Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. The project was launched in 2021/2022. This work presents an algorithm of diagnostic survey, which is aimed at determining the initial level of self-awareness needs of higher technical education students. A four-stage strategy, which includes such methods of empirical research as the following: interview in the form of a mini-discussion; a test-questionnaire, dialogue-discussion, quizzing, is developed and used. The article highlights and defines the results of the research, which prove the lack of the formed system of self-development and the lack of need for self-study activities in most mechanical engineering students. It is noticed that the psychological state among students is significantly affected by ... |
