Popis: The paper is based on the author’s complete accent description of one rather independent fragment of the medieval Serbian accent system, presented in two manuscripts of the fifteenth century. It deals with one of the most striking problems concerning the genesis of the system under discussion (and a number of similar Slavic systems)—the problem of the development of the so-called “poluotmetnost” in the present tense of a number of *ě/i-verbs dating back to the Proto-Slavic accent paradigms *b and *c. In this article, we propose an attempt to solve this problem, which seems to be substantiated in the accentual behavior of the class of *i-verbs in the studied South Shtokavian system as well. DOI:10.31168/2305-6754.2025.1.06 ; Работа опирается на составленное автором, но оказавшееся слишком объемным для журнальной публикации полное акцентное описание одного достаточно самостоятельного фрагмента средневековой сербской акцентной системы, представленной в двух рукописных памятниках XV в. Речь идет об одной из наиболее ярких акцентологических проблем, касающейся генезиса обсуждаемой системы (и ряда подобных ей славянских систем) — проблеме развития так называемой полуотметности в презенсе ряда *ě/i-глаголов, восходящих к праславянским акцентным парадигмам *b и *c. В публикуемом очерке предложена попытка решения этой проблемы, получающая, как представляется, обоснование в акцентном поведении также класса *i-глаголов в изучаемой южноштокавской системе.
