Popis: When developing a web application, framework play a very important role and have a big influence on the performance of an application. With the rapid development of web technology in recent years, various parties are competing to create a better framework. Microsoft, as a giant company that is also a pioneer in this matter, has also developed several frameworks of their own, namely ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core. In this research, we compare the performance of the two frameworks. To compare these two frameworks, we made a simple application that is connected to an identical database and the application code was created using the scaffolding feature from each framework. The application then tested with parameters such as processor usage, RAM memory usage, and response time from each application. Overall, the ASP.NET MVC framework has better performance than the ASP.NET Core framework.
