Popis: The article deals with the problem of forming the professional competence of future primary school teachers, which is relevant in the context of military challenges. The essence and components of the professional competence of primary school teachers are outlined. The article presents the national regulatory framework governing the professional training of primary school teachers. Based on the analysis, synthesis of scientific psychological and pedagogical sources and experience in organizing the educational process at Kharkiv Hryhoriy Skovoroda National Pedagogical University, the priority directions of forming the professional competence of future primary school teachers are identified (focusing the educational process on the formation of the value and personal attitude of future teachers to mastering professional competencies, to the future field of activity, awareness of responsibility for their own actions; to ensure the interconnection of general, professional and fundamental training of future primary school teachers; to take into account modern requirements of society, stakeholders’ requests for the results of students’ education; to update (or develop new) educational programs in a timely manner, taking into account the transformation processes in the education system, the specifics of the organization of distance and blended learning for younger students; to organize the educational process on the basis of competence-based education. The study concludes that the process of forming the professional competence of future primary school teachers involves the modernization and improvement of the organization of professional education in a higher pedagogical education institution. The outlined problem requires an integrated approach to its solution, and taking into account the necessary outlined areas of formation of future primary school teachers’ professional competence will ensure the success and effectiveness of its implementation. Prospects for further research have been identified, which consist in the development of components of a didactic system for the formation of professional basic competencies of future primary school teachers.
У статті розглянуто актуальну в умовах воєнних викликів сьогодення проблему. Окреслено суть та складові професійної компетеності учителів початкових класів. Представлено вітчизняні нормативно-правові засади, що регулюють професійну підготовку вчителів початкових класів. Визначено пріоритетні напрями формування професійної компетентності майбутніх учителів початкових класів в умовах воєнних викликів. У ході дослідження зроблено висновок, що процес формування професійної компетентності майбутніх учителів початкових класів передбачає модернізацію та удосконалення організації професійної освіти у закладі вищої педагогічної освіти.
