| Description: | The article reveals the problem of digital technologies as a means of developing logical-mathematical competence in preschool children. It is revealed that logical-mathematical competence is interpreted as an integral quality that includes the preschooler’s ability to use mathematical knowledge to solve practical and cognitive tasks, to support logical operations (analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification), to apply problem-solving algorithms, and to evaluate the results of their activities. This competence is an important condition for the successful preparation of a child. According to scientific research, the use of digital technologies in the educational process positively affects the cognitive development of children, provides visualization of complex abstract concepts, and activates their cognitive activity. The role of digital technologies in the logical-mathematical development of preschoolers is determined. It has been found that information and computer technologies are an effective means of developing preschool children. The use of interactive programs, cartoons, game applications, and multimedia presentations allows solving a number of tasks of modern preschool education in the formation of logical-mathematical competence in preschool children: it promotes the assimilation of mathematical concepts by children in an interesting and accessible form; effectively influences the formation of basic mathematical representations and the development of logical thinking; provides visualization of logical-mathematical concepts using animations, diagrams, images; allows you to customize programs to the individual capabilities of the child, promotes the gradual assimilation of knowledge, skills, and abilities, which generally ensures the effectiveness of its logical-mathematical development. It is noted that an important goal of educators is the formation of the foundations of information culture in children – skills of selective and critical perception of information, the ability to work with various media resources and effectively use digital technologies. У статті розкрито проблему цифрових технологій як засобу розвитку логіко-математичної компетентності дітей дошкільного віку. Розкрито, що логіко-математична компетентність трактується як інтегральна якість, що включає здатність дошкільника використовувати математичні знання для вирішення практичних і пізнавальних завдань, підтримувати логічні операції (аналіз, синтез, порівняння, класифікація), розміщувати алгоритми вирішення проблеми та оцінювати результати своєї діяльності. Ця компетентність є важливою умовою успішної підготовки дитини. Згідно з науковими дослідженнями, використання цифрових технологій в освітньому процесі позитивно впливає на когнітивний розвиток дітей, забезпечує візуалізацію складних абстрактних понять, активізує їхню пізнавальну діяльність. |
