Popis: This paper explores how HR analytics can contribute to the development of strategic capabilities in HRM. Previous studies have highlighted the potential of HR analytics to enhance the strategic role of HRM in the organisation. However, these studies have not focused on the day-to-day efforts and strategic achievements of HR analytics practitioners. Therefore, our study investigates how practitioners use HR analytics in their day-to-day work to build strategic capabilities in HRM to enhance their strategic position. We analyse a range of qualitative data, including expert interviews and observations, and link these findings to practice theory to identify four distinct tactics and outline an iterative cycle for developing strategic HRM capabilities through HR analytics. Our findings contribute to the literature on HR analytics and strategic capabilities in HRM.
