Description: The Competency-Based Approach (CBA), when combined with Technology-Enhanced Learning environments (TEL), can be used to generate competency profiles for each learner. This profile, intended for the learner from a self-regulation perspective, is a complex element to fully grasp. Therefore, it is necessary to provide explanations (XAI) to support understanding. These explanations also aim to enhance the learner's trust in the profile's values, and by extension, in the TEL environment itself.
