| Popis: |
This thesis focuses on the use of Prague musical topography as an innovative approach to music education at the secondary and tertiary levels. The primary objective is to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience through the project presented in this study. The project enables students to understand the musical history of Prague and actively engage in the learning process. The project includes thematic teaching blocks and excursions focused on three key historical periods - Classicism, Romanticism, and Music from the 20th Century to the Present - and their musical contexts. Each topic is implemented through preparatory lessons, excursions to significant historical sites and concluding lessons that reflect on the acquired knowledge. During the excursions, students visit Prague locations associated with the selected artists from each period and actively create digital maps highlighting significant musical landmarks in Prague. Emphasis is placed on linking theory with practice and fostering active learning. The project-based teaching approach is further supported by modern technologies, including online maps. This thesis presents a comprehensive educational concept that can be applied in school curricula and expanded through modern technologies and interdisciplinary connections. |
