| Beschreibung: | The article deals with the study of scientific and technical terms that play a key role in professional communication. Based on the studied scientific literature, several definitions of the concept of “scientific and technical term” are considered and the conclusion about the ambiguity of existing interpretations is made, as well as the typology of terms according to their structure is presented. Special attention is paid to the study of the structure and translation of multi-component scientific and technical terms in Russian and English. Статья посвящена исследованию научно-технических терминов, играющих ключевую роль в профессиональной коммуникации. На основе изученной научной литературы рассмотрено несколько определений понятия «научно-технический термин» и сделан вывод о неоднозначности существующих трактовок, а также представлена типология терминов по их структуре. Особое внимание в исследовании уделено изучению структуры многокомпонентных научно-технических терминов в русском и английском языках. |
