Popis: The article discusses traditional and new methods and approaches to the study of demographic processes in the new socio-economic conditions of regional development and territorial administration. The necessity of transition from quantitative indicators of evaluation to qualitative characteristics and indicators of the formation of the demographic situation is substantiated. The territorial features of the development of geodemographic processes in the regions of Russia are revealed, causal relationships are identified. The proposed method of multivariate analysis and typology of subjects of the Russian Federation on socio-demographic indicators, which is the basis for the justification of regional policy, taking into account territorial features.
В статье рассматриваются традиционные и новые методы и подходы к изучению демографических процессов в новых социально-экономических условиях регионального развития и территориального управления. Обосновывается необходимость перехода от количественных показателей оценки к качественным характеристикам и индикаторам формирования демографической ситуации. Раскрываются территориальные особенности развития геодемографических процессов регионов России, выявляются причинно-следственные связи. Предложена методика многофакторного анализа и типологии субъектов РФ по социально-демографическим показателям, являющаяся основой для обоснования региональной политики с учетом территориальных особенностей.
