Beschreibung: This paper analyzes normative descriptions of certain prepositions and identifies contexts in which their usage is proscribed. Since normative literature rarely explains the reasons why the use of a particular preposition is considered incorrect, this paper attempts to determine and justify the reasons for proscription, as well as to examine whether there are conditions for changing normative determinations. Based on a corpus-based perspective, i.e., an analysis of the use of prepositions in the hrWaC corpus that establishes the frequency of their use in proscribed contexts, the paper also examines the justification of the usage-based model (Langacker, 1988), i.e., it addresses the question of whether a high frequency of use can be the (sole) criterion for normative acceptability. The usage of proscribed expressions such as kod + G in the meaning of destination with verbs of movement and in a temporal sense is analyzed; then the usage of the preposition za with infinitives and with verbs of movement. Attention is also paid to a group of temporal prepositions whose normative descriptions are inconsistent (iza, poslije, tijekom, kroz, pod, pred, po).
U radu se analiziraju normativni opisi pojedinih prijedloga te se utvrđuju konteksti u kojima se njihova uporaba proskribira. Budući da normativna literatura vrlo rijetko objašnjava same razloge zbog kojih se uporaba pojedinog prijedloga smatra nepravilnom, u radu se pokušavaju utvrditi i opravdati razlozi proskribiranja te ujedno uvidjeti ima li uvjeta za promjenu normativnih određenja. Na temelju pogleda iz korpusne perspektive, tj. analize uporabe prijedloga u korpusu hrWaC, kojom se utvrđuje učestalost njihove uporabe u proskribiranim kontekstima, ujedno se razmatra i pitanje opravdanosti uporabnog modela (engl. usage-based model, Langacker, 1988.), tj. odgovara se na pitanje može li velika učestalost uporabe biti (jedini) kriterij za normativnu prihvatljivost. Analizira se uporaba proskribiranih izraza kod + G u značenju cilja uz glagole kretanja te u vremenskom značenju, zatim uporaba prijedloga za s infinitivom i uz glagole kretanja. Pozornost se posvećuje i skupini vremenskih prijedloga čiji su normativni opisi neujednačeni (iza, poslije, tijekom, kroz, pod, pred, po).
