| Beschreibung: | Satellite technologies are becoming increasingly important in modernizing artillery targeting and military operations, significantly improving the precision, speed, and security of artillery weapons' actions. This paper explores the integration of navigation and reconnaissance satellites into artillery, analyzing different types of satellite orbits and global navigation systems. It also discusses the impacts of external factors, such as solar activity and geomagnetic storms, on satellite system performance. The focus is on the application of satellites for precise positioning, reconnaissance, target acquisition, and post-action assessment of effects. The development of innovative ammunition utilizing satellite technologies is examined, highlighting its role in significantly enhancing speed, precision, security, and, consequently, the effectiveness of artillery in modern conflicts. Special attention is given to satellite reconnaissance and analysis, as well as integrating satellites into artillery units by utilizing satellite imagery to facilitate faster and more accurate target selection and engagement decisions. Advanced technologies such as machine learning for satellite image analysis are also considered, further modernizing target identification capabilities and reducing the risk of errors. In conclusion, the paper discusses the crucial current role of satellite systems in enhancing operational efficiency, precision, and security in artillery targeting, as well as their potential future capabilities in military operations. |
