Beschreibung: Managing complex manufacturing systems requires a structured yet flexible approach to continuously improve quality and efficiency. This paper explores the integration of agile methods, in particular Scrum and Kanban, into a hybrid project management framework that combines the strengths of traditional (waterfall) approaches with the adaptability of agile practices. In addition, the Lean Six Sigma methodology is incorporated as a systematic framework for identifying and eliminating process deviations, waste and variation to achieve high levels of process stability and product quality. The focus is on managing projects where objectives are not fully defined at the outset and require iterative planning and execution. The combination of agile practices and Six Sigma tools such as the DMAIC cycle, cause-and-effect analysis and statistical process control enables greater transparency of workflows, faster detection of process deviations and more effective implementation of corrective actions. A case study from the automotive industry illustrates how this integrated approach can lead to measurable improvements in product quality and production efficiency, while reducing waste and improving operational excellence.
