| Popis: | The article examines the development of the historical and local history movement in the Penza Region in the period 1960-1980, its role and significance in monument conservation activities — identification, survey, certification, state registration and protection of historical, revolutionary, architectural, artistic and archaeological monuments. The laws and regulations of the Soviet government are studied, which laid the legal basis for the state protection of historical and cultural monuments and the formation of public initiatives in the study, protection and popularization of historical and cultural heritage. An analysis is carried out of the main areas of activity and interaction of state authorities, the Penza branch of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments (PO VOOPIK), cultural, educational, archival institutions for the preservation of monuments of historical and cultural heritage and the development of the local history movement in a comprehensive study of the history of the Penza Region. |
