Description: Encouraging students to produce argumentative essays is crucial in helping them advance their writing abilities. Investigating this emotive characteristic as one of the key factors influencing language acquisition is necessary. By presenting the overall score and the types of motivation students used, the research aims to investigate the trend of their motivation to write. Twenty-six participants were given a questionnaire for the study's quantitative design. The results indicated a reasonable level of motivation among the students. The results show that kids have an overwhelming urge to write. The contents demonstrate that the students are open to receiving comments from their teachers, work hard to improve their writing using techniques, and think that writing abilities are crucial for future employment. This implies that even while students exhibit strong incentives to write, deliberate support to recognize their motivation is required when allocating time for argumentative writing.
