Description: Influence of tectonic factor on the atomic-molecular structure of coal was studied. Structural characteristics of organic matter were determined by the method of electronic paramagnetic resonance (EPR) on the tests of coal selected in dislocations of different genesis and on the areas of different stressed-deformed state. It was determined that in similar on composition, degrees of metamorphism and by general tectonic conditions coal beds the atomic-molecular structure of coal was substantially changed: in the compression conditions of value of sorption capacity indexes, the concentrations of PMC and coefficient of coal matter aromatization are higher, than in the conditions of tension. It was established that tectonic processes lead to activating of structural transformations in coal, as the result there is decrease of the accumulated energy as emission of fluids, in particular, methane, and structuring of solid residue with increased carbon content.
