| Description: | In this paper, the author analyzes the current stage of South Korean-Japanese relations under the leadership of President Yoon Suk Yeol. The author examines his policy towards Japan, raising questions about the prospects for further bilateral cooperation and identifying potential obstacles to the implementation of this policy. The paper contends that, despite the intensification of cooperation under President Yoon Suk Yeol and progress in the development of bilateral relations, several unresolved political and historical issues may undermine the prospects for their continued growth. Specifically, challenges related to historical memory and several outstanding economic issues have the potential to act as destabilizing factors in future bilateral relations. In turn, the government of Yoon Suk Yeol appears to refrain from actively addressing these problems, opting instead to exclude them from the bilateral relations agenda. This approach, while seemingly avoiding immediate conflict, may result in a freeze of the issues, posing potential difficulties for the future. В настоящей работе анализируется современный этап южнокорейско-японских отношений при президенте Юн Сок Ёле. Автор рассматривает двусторонние отношения на момент прихода к власти в РК Юн Сок Ёля и его политику в отношении Японии. В работе поднимается вопрос о перспективах настоящего двустороннего сотрудничества, а также препятствиях, которые могут возникнуть в реализации этой политики. Автор утверждает, что, несмотря на активизацию сотрудничества при президенте Юн Сок Ёле и прогресс в развитии двусторонних отношений, ряд нерешенных политических и исторических проблем может подорвать перспективы развития этих отношений. В частности, проблемы исторической памяти, а также ряд нерешенных экономических вопросов могут стать дестабилизирующими факторами для будущих двусторонних отношений. Следует признать, что правительство Юн Сок Ёля не старается решить эти проблемы, а лишь исключает их из повестки двусторонних отношений, что в конечном итоге замораживает конфликт и может привести к сложностям в будущем. |
