Beschreibung: Designing terraces is associated with a complex organisation of summer spaces, united by a common idea — the ordering of summer spaces into a single algorithm, reflecting some volume-planning and functional characteristics, laid in the basis of design. The problem of the research is that to date there is no term that unites the organisation of terraces into a single method, reflecting the principles of interaction of the method with the façade and context in domestic architectural practice. In the geological environment there is a homonym term ‘terracing’, which, presumably, could vividly and accurately reflect the meaning of this architectural technique. The task of the research is to trace the similarity of the use of the term in the geological and architectural context and to select the necessary interpretation when designing terraces in architecture.
Проектирование террас связано со сложной организацией летних помещений, объединенной общей идеей — упорядочивание летних помещений в единый алгоритм, отражающий некие объемно-планировочные и функциональные характеристики, заложенные в основу проектирования. Проблема исследования заключается в том, что на сегодняшний день термина, объединяющее организацию террас в единый метод, отражающий принципы взаимодействия метода с фасадом и контекстом в отечественной архитектурной практике, не существует. В геологической же среде есть однокоренной термин «террасирование», который, предположительно, смог бы ярко и точно отразить смысл данного архитектурного приема. Задача исследования — проследить сходство использования термина в геологическом и архитектурном контексте и подобрать необходимую трактовку при проектировании террас в архитектуре.
