| Beschreibung: | Аннотация. В статье рассматриваются дипломатические отношения Византийской империи с Египтом в XIII–XV веках. В связи с ростом могущества Осман в этот период и их противостоянием со вышеперечисленными державами, данные отношения имеют значимое влияние для дальнейшей судьбы рассматриваемого региона. Статья основана на базовых методологических принципах – объективности, научности, историзма, системности. В ходе исследования удалось установить, что отношения Византии с Египтом от дружественных постепенно перетекали в негативные, что было связано с утратой общих интересов и нарастанием противоречий. Также изменениям в отношениях двух держав поспособствовали внешние факторы в лице итальянских республик Генуи и Венеции, Ильханата, Тамерлана и Османского бейлика. Abstract. The article examines the diplomatic relations of the Byzantine Empire with Egypt and the state of Tamerlane in the XIII–XV centuries. Due to the growing power of the Ottomans during this period and their confrontation with all of the above powers, these relations have a significant impact on the future fate of the region in question. The article is based on the basic methodological principles – objectivity, scientific, historicism, consistency. In the course of the study, it was possible to establish that relations between Byzantium and Egypt gradually turned from friendly to negative, which was associated with the loss of common interests and growing contradictions. In addition, external factors in the face of the Italian republics of Genoa and Venice, the Ilkhanate, Tamerlane and the Ottoman Beylik contributed to changes in relations between the two powers. |
