| Popis: | Статья посвящена анализу и частичной реконструкции рукописи выдающегося советского антиковеда и переводчика Андрея Николаевича Егунова, сохранившейся в его личном архиве. Рукопись представляет собой незаконченную монографию ученого, посвященную проблеме исследования русских переводов и рецепции в России феномена так называемого греческого романа. На основании сохранившихся архивных черновых материалов авторами статьи предпринята попытка выявить цель автора, а также воссоздать базовую структуру сочинения. По мнению авторов статьи, задуманная Егуновым незавершенная работа была призвана внести вклад в исследование традиции российского переводоведения, пролив свет на биографии российских переводчиков-античников xviii–xix вв., а также провести своеобразный сравнительный анализ самих текстов различных русских переводов греческих романов в рассматриваемый исторический период. Полученные в ходе ознакомления с ранее не публиковавшимися архивными материалами данные не только позволяют отдать дань памяти выдающемуся отечественному ученому, но и ввести часть из них в научный оборот. В статье также рассмотрены методологические принципы Егунова, позволяющие заглянуть в «творческую лабораторию» исследователя-переводоведа, выявив ряд подходов и «технологических приемов» автора в работе над монографией, а также данными первоисточников, которые во многом остаются актуальными и для работы ученых-антиковедов наших дней. The present article is devoted to the analysis and partial reconstruction of a manuscript of the prominent Soviet classical scholar and translator Andrei Nikolayevich Egunov preserved in his personal archive. The manuscript in question is an unfinished monograph devoted to the problem of Russian translations and reception of the phenomenon of the so-called Greek novel in Russia. On the basis of the surviving archival draft materials, the authors attempt to identify Egunov’s goal and to reconstruct the basic structure of his work. According to the authors of the article, the unfinished work conceived by Egunov was intended to contribute to the study of the tradition of Russian translation studies, shedding light on the biographies of Russian translators of classical literature in the xviii–xix centuries, as well as to conduct a kind of comparative analysis of the various Russian translations of Greek novels in the historical period under consideration. The data obtained in the course of familiarisation with previously unpublished archival materials not only allows the authors to pay tribute to the memory of the outstanding Russian scholar, but also to introduce some of them into academic circulation. The article also considers Egunov’s methodological principles, casting a glance into the scholar’s “creative laboratory” and revealing a number of approaches or “techniques” Egunov employed while working on his monograph, applying them to the primary sources as well, which approaches in many respects remain relevant for the classicists of our days. |
