| Popis: | В настоящей статье рассматриваются средства оценочной репрезентации интеллектуальных способностей человека в современном английском языке, а также выделяются оценочные единицы, отражающие уровень интеллектуальных способностей человека. В исследовании нами выделены оценочные единицы, которые образуют оценочные категории genius и idiot в языке. Интеллект понимается нами как способность человека мыслить, принимать решения, правильно использовать свои способности для успешного выполнения определенного вида деятельности. Интеллектуальные способности человека включают в себя множество компонентов, которые взаимосвязаны и реализуются при выполнении различных социальных ролей. This article examines the means of evaluating the representation of a person's intellectual abilities in modern English, and also identifies evaluation units reflecting the level of a person's intellectual abilities. In the study, we have identified evaluation units that form the evaluation categories genius and idiot in the language. Intelligence is understood by us as the ability of a person to think, make decisions, correctly use their abilities to successfully perform a certain type of activity. The intellectual abilities of a person include many components that are interconnected and implemented when performing various social roles. |
