| Popis: | In 2014-2015 in the Ulyanovsk region under the guidance of the author of the article the research of Orthodox churches that in the mid-1950s fell into the flood zone of the Kuibyshev hydroelectric power plant was conducted. At the first stage the necessary information was collected in archives and field expeditions. Especially important were cartographic materials and oral recollections of old residents. At the second stage, underwater work was carried out in summer and winter in order to find the locations of the remains of the flooded churches. From the planned six managed to fix presumably four church foundations. A total of 20 urban and rural stone and wooden churches fell into the flood zone, were destroyed and then flooded. В 2014–2015 гг. в Ульяновской области под руководством автора статьи проводились исследования православных храмов, в середине 1950-х гг. попавших в зону затопления Куйбышевской гидроэлектростанции. На первом этапе проводился сбор необходимой информации в архивах и полевых экспедициях. Особенно важными оказались картографические материалы и устные воспоминания старожилов. На втором этапе летом и зимой осуществлялись подводные работы с целью поиска местоположений остатков затопленных церквей. Из запланированных шести удалось зафиксировать предположительно четыре церковных фундамента. Всего в зону затопления попало, было разрушено и затем затоплено 20 городских и сельских каменных и деревянных храмов. |
