| Beschreibung: | The relevance of the article is explained by the need to search for productive forms of multicultural interaction in a modern school as well as by the psychological conditions for the formation of students desire for intercultural communication. The article analyses the results of studying the features of the festival as a pedagogical event. The essence of the influence of the festival on the formation of multicultural competence is uncovered. The causes of productivity as a form of multicultural interaction in comparison with the competition are evaluated. The importance of enhancing the use of active methods of educational work in the formation of the multicultural space of a modern school is show Актуальность статьи обусловлена необходимостью поиска продуктивных форм поликультурного взаимодействия в современной школе и психологических условий формирования у обучающихся стремления к налаживанию межкультурной коммуникации. В статье проводится анализ полученных результатов изучения особенностей фестиваля как педагогического события. Раскрыта сущность влияния фестиваля на формирование поликультурной компетенции. Выявлены причины продуктивности как формы поликультурного взаимодействия в сравнении с конкурсом.
