The article aims to explore the main trends and challenges associated with the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. Methods. For the study, we used statistical and logical analyses, as well as SWOT analysis. Results. The article defines the features of the Russian economy and industry regarding the implementation of artificial intelligence and robotics technologies. Conclusions. The results obtained can be useful to administrative bodies to develop strategies for further digital transformation.
