Beschreibung: Article examines the impact of geopolitical rivalry between the leading world powers on the effectiveness of key international organizations, including the UN, WTO, IMF and WHO. The article analyzes examples of blocking decisions, undermining global regulation, and politicizing international institutions in the context of recent conflicts, including the armed conflict in Ukraine, trade disputes between the United States and China, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the role of international organizations in the context of a world order moving from unipolarity to a multicenter system. Based on the case analysis, the main challenges to institutional sustainability have been identified and possible reform directions have been proposed. The article is based on institutional and systemic approaches and is aimed at understanding the prospects for international cooperation in an era of increasing fragmentation of world politics.
В статье рассматривается влияние геополитического соперничества между ведущими мировыми державами на эффективность функционирования ключевых международных организаций, включая ООН, ВТО, МВФ и ВОЗ. Анализируются примеры блокирования решений, подрыва глобального регулирования и политизации международных институтов в контексте конфликтов последних лет, включая вооруженный конфликт в Украине, торговые споры между США и Китаем и пандемию COVID-19. Особое внимание уделяется трансформации роли международных организаций в условиях мирового порядка, переходящего от однополярности к многоцентровой системе. На основе кейс-анализа выявлены основные вызовы институциональной устойчивости и предложены направления возможных реформ. Статья основывается на институциональном и системном подходах и направлена на осмысление перспектив международного сотрудничества в эпоху нарастающей фрагментации мировой политики.
