Статья посвящена актуальным проблемам истории Кавказа – происхождению казачества, прошедшего сложный путь эволюции от вольного общества до закрытого военно-служивого сословия, и процессу колонизации Северо-Восточного Кавказа. Делается вывод, что этногруппа была превращена в инструмент реализации специфической задачи обороны порубежных границ и удержания в покорности народов Российской империи. The article is devoted to the topical problems of the history of the Caucasus – the origin of the Cossacks, who underwent a difficult path of evolution from a free society to a closed military-service estate, and the process of colonization of the North-Eastern Caucasus. It is concluded that the ethnogroup has been turned into an instrument for the implementation of a specific task of defending the borderlands and keeping the peoples of the Russian Empire submissive. |
