| Popis: | The monograph examines the characteristics of the preaching genre in the context of the 17th century and substantiates the importance of church eloquence for the Russian literature and philosophy of the transitional era. The article provides research data on the place of the appearance of the collection, characterizes the peculiarities of the culture of the “Stroganov” region, and hypothesizes about the author of the collection and his priorities, emotional and literary disposition. Sermons related to sacred images of Christ and the Mother of God, as well as to the assessment of church building are published for the first time. In addition to the sermons, the autobiographical text of the preacher and his statements addressed to the reader of the manuscript are introduced. For specialists in the areas of the history of Russian culture, literature and language, homiletics, and Ural local history. В монографии рассматриваются особенности проповеднического жанра в контексте XVII в., обосновывается важность церковного красноречия для русской литературы и философии эпохи. Приводятся исследовательские данные о месте появления сборника «Статир», дается характеристика особенностей культуры строгановского региона, выдвигается гипотеза о личности автора книги. Впервые публикуются проповеди из сборника, относящиеся к сакральным образам Христа и Богородицы, а также к оценке церковного строительства. В научный оборот вводятся автобиографический текст проповедника и его высказывания, обращенные к читателю сборника. Для специалистов в сферах истории русской культуры, литературы и языка, гомилетики, уральского краеведения.
