Description: This study examines the development of an innovation platform for regenerative agriculture (RA) through a case study. The platform aims to transform the food system towards regenerative agriculture by promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among various stakeholders. The research questions focus on how such a platform can be structured and what challenges and success factors arise during its development. The results indicate that a multifunctional core team, collaboration platforms, preferred partners, communication platforms, and university collaborations are central components. The study identified stakeholders and proposed a food system map for RA showing how the stakeholders are related to each other. Further, focus areas when stimulating the transition towards RA: knowledge, processes, support, digitalization and capital and risk, and activities supporting that were identified, as well as challenges and success factors. The conclusions contribute to the literature on innovation platforms and insights for practitioners. Limitations and further research are discussed.
