Beschreibung: This study presents a bibliometric analysis of scholarly publications on makerspaces in school libraries, utilizing Publish or Perish (PoP) and VOSviewer software. Makerspaces have increasingly become essential in educational settings, transforming school libraries into dynamic spaces for hands-on, creative, and collaborative learning. However, a comprehensive mapping of scholarly output in this area has been lacking. This study addresses this gap by analyzing publication trends, influential authors, and collaborative networks from 2014 to 2024. Using PoP, 67 publications were initially retrieved, with 47 relevant works identified for analysis. VOSviewer was employed to visualize co-authorship networks and thematic clusters within the literature. Results indicate fluctuating research interest over the years, with a peak in 2017 and a subsequent decline, potentially influenced by shifts in educational priorities during the COVID- 19 pandemic. Key themes include experiential learning, student engagement, and educational innovation, underscoring makerspaces' role in enhancing 21st-century skills. Findings provide insights into the intellectual structure of makerspace research in school libraries, informing future studies and practical applications for librarians and educators.
