| Beschreibung: | The study investigated the Relationship between Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use towards Teachers’ Attitude in Integration of ICT in Teaching Biology in Secondary Schools, Gombe State, Nigeria. The study consists of two research objectives, research questions and Null hypotheses. Correlational design was used in the study; Population of the study comprises all 47 Biology teachers in Secondary Schools in the Gombe Central Senatorial District. The entire population was used. The instrument Used for data collection was a questionnaire. The instrument was validated by three experts from the Department of Science Education in the faculty of education Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State. The reliability of the instrument was tested using Cronbach’s alpha, in which a 0.81 value was obtained. The Null hypotheses were tested using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The findings of this research are as follows: There was a weak relationship between Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Teachers’ Attitudes (TATT) towards integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching Biology; there was a weak relationship between Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) and teachers' attitudes (TATT) towards integrating ICT in teaching Biology; and there was no significant relationship between Perceived Usefulness, Ease of Use and teachers attitudes in the integration of ICT in teaching Biology. Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations were made: professional development programmes be implemented to enhance teachers' skills and confidence in using ICT tools, and recommendations were made that school administrations invest in User-friendly ICT tools and provide ongoing technical support, making integration easier for teachers. That educational policymakers encourage and facilitate the integration of ICT tools by showcasing their benefits and successful Use cases. Again, schools create a supportive environment for ICT integration, including adequate infrastructure, access to resources, and a collaborative culture among teachers. |
