Abstract: The article discusses an approach to hyperlink validation in software products documentation. The author states that the first idea of this approach is that tool should be easily expandable, the second idea is central management, and the third idea is that the validation process should be controllable. For the reason that software products usually have documentation in HyperText Markup Language (HTML) format, documentation can be made in pure HTML format and other formats that contain HTML documents like the JavaHelp™ System.
