Abstract:	The article explores several Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE) implementations. An overview of creating a foundation of secure sockets layer (SSL)-related information for Java on iSeries is provided. Native iSeries JSSE is the most easy to configure in its ways of implementation. SSLConfiguration Utility can obtain Java KeyStore objects and files from digital certificate manager.
