Abstract: The article focuses on a study from Jiangnan University in Wuxi, People's Republic of China, which proposes an optimization method to improve Interactive Evolutionary Design (IED) by integrating subjective and objective weights. This method aims to reduce user fatigue and enhance the efficiency of Genetic Algorithms (GAs) by utilizing a combined AHP-CRITIC proxy model. The research demonstrates that this new approach, applied to armchair design, achieves faster convergence and more stable fitness trajectories compared to traditional Interactive Genetic Algorithms (IGAs). The findings suggest significant potential for this framework in optimizing complex, multi-criteria problems in electronic system design, highlighting its relevance to intelligent and interactive engineering systems.
