Abstract: The article surveys recent advancements in networking research across the Arab world, focusing on intelligent wireless connectivity and intelligent secure networking systems. It highlights how regional researchers are applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance 5G and 6G performance, integrate satellite and unmanned aerial vehicle networks for broader coverage, and improve Internet of Things (IoT) traffic management and security. Key innovations include adaptive learning algorithms for dynamic resource allocation, predictive maintenance, and decentralized IoT architectures. The article concludes that while challenges remain in regulation, workforce development, and data availability, these efforts position the region to make significant contributions to global networking and digital transformation.
