Abstract (English): The article aims to show how translation in Minecraft can support the preservation and revitalization of endangered regional languages using the example of Elfdalian. The article provides concise information about the game itself, illustrates the current situation of the Elfdalian language and briefly discusses its grammatical system, orthography and the history of its presence in the game. This information is a necessary introduction to the linguistic analysis of the translation of chromatonyms in the names of items available in Minecraft. The results are the basis for conclusions about whether Minecraft provides the opportunity to revitalize an endangered language. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
