The current research aims to know the effect of the (Find the Error) strategy on the achievement of mathematics among third-year middle school students. The research sample consisted of (73) students, distributed into two groups: (37) students in the experimental group who studied mathematics according to the "Find the Error" strategy, and (36) students in the control group who studied the same subject in the usual way (the prevailing method). The researcher achieved equivalence between the two groups of the research sample in the following variables: chronological age calculated in months, previous achievement in mathematics, intelligence, and previous information in mathematics. The researcher relied on a tool to measure the dependent variable of the research: an achievement test consisting of (40) items. The researcher verified the validity, reliability, and psychometric properties of the tool. The results of the research showed that the students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the control group in the achievement test in mathematics . [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
| Abstract (Arabic): | يهدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة تأثير استراتيجية "أوجد الخطأ في تحصيل مادة الرياضيات عند طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط. تألفت عينة البحث من (73) طالبًا، موزعين على مجموعتين (37) طالبًا في المجموعة التجريبية التي درست مادة الرياضيات وفقًا لاستراتيجية "أوجد الخطأ"، و (36) طالبًا في المجموعة الضابطة التي درست المادة نفسها بالطريقة الاعتيادية (الطريقة السائدة. قام الباحث بتحقيق التكافؤ بين مجموعتي عينة البحث في المتغيرات التالية: العمر الزمني محسوبا بالأشهر التحصيل السابق في مادة الرياضيات الذكاء، والمعلومات السابقة في مادة الرياضيات. اعتمد الباحث على أداة لقياس المتغير التابع للبحث وهي اختبار تحصيلي مكون من (40) فقرة. تأكد الباحث من صدق الأداة وثباتها وخصائصها السيكومترية أظهرت نتائج البحث تفوق طلاب المجموعة التجريبية على طلاب المجموعة الضابطة في اختبار التحصيل في مادة الرياضيات.
