| Abstract (English): | The condition of contemporary urban space highlights the difficulty of transforming the city through traditional planning tools as well as the presence - within the folds of imposed forms - of active communities which offer meaningful contributions to the resolution of public issues. Today's city demands a new paradigm, one that integrates informality as a resource and traditional planning as a framework, shaping a dialectical relationship between strategy and tactics, between long-term visions and immediate actions. Berlin's former Tempelhof Airport represents a paradigmatic case of experimentation, a laboratory of coexistence between top-down planning and bottom-up practices, capable of generating new opportunities for urban space. | Abstract (Italian): | La condizione dello spazio urbano contemporaneo mette in evidenza sia la difficoltà di trasformare la città con i tradizionali strumenti di governo del territorio, che l'esistenza, tra le pieghe delle forme imposte, di comunità attive che propongono sollecitazioni rilevanti rispetto alla risoluzione di questioni pubbliche. La città attuale richiede un nuovo paradigma capace di coniugare l'informalità come risorsa e la pianificazione tradizionale come struttura, configurando un rapporto dialettico tra strategia e tattica, tra lungo periodo e azioni immediate. L'ex aeroporto di Tempelhof a Berlino costituisce un esempio emblematico di sperimentazione, un laboratorio di convivenza tra pianificazione dall'alto e pratiche dal basso, capace di determinare nuove possibilità per lo spazio urbano.
