The article focuses on the development of two innovative CRISPR-based visual detection systems for severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV), namely RAA-CRISPR/Cas12a-fluorescent (RCCF) and RAA-CRISPR/Cas12a-DNAzyme (RCCD). These systems utilize recombinase-aided amplification (RAA) combined with CRISPR/Cas12a to achieve ultrasensitive and specific detection of SFTSV RNA, addressing limitations of existing detection methods like ELISA and RT-PCR. The RCCF system is designed for laboratory use with fluorescence detection, while the RCCD system is suitable for resource-limited settings, providing colorimetric results visible to the naked eye. Both methods demonstrate high sensitivity and specificity, making them promising tools for SFTSV detection in various scenarios. [Extracted from the article] |
