| Abstract (English): | The article "Announcements of the DMV" from March 1, 2025 covers various topics, including the awarding of the Georg Cantor Medal to Felix Otto, the uncertainty of women in science, the DMV as an organization, and the awarding of prizes to outstanding mathematicians. Other topics include the DMV Topic Days on Felix Klein, the student conference of the DMV, Carlo Kaul's bachelor thesis on model extension of an ADRM for forest fires, Alexander West's master thesis on minimizing the Willmore energy of a closed surface, and the nationwide survey of mathematics lecturers at German universities. The Queer in Math Day 2024 took place at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig to celebrate diversity in mathematics and create a safer environment for LGBTQ+ mathematicians. The professorship in Stochastics, the working group on Data Science and Applied Statistics, the working group on Scientific Computing, and the working group on Discrete Optimization at the University of Rostock, as well as the professorship in Mathematical Statistics and the professorship in Applied Stochastics with a focus on Business Mathematics, are engaged in various research topics and offer a wide range of mathematics courses. | Abstract (German): | Der Artikel "Mitteilungen der DMV" vom 1. März 2025 behandelt verschiedene Themen, darunter die Verleihung der Georg-Cantor-Medaille an Felix Otto, die Unsicherheit von Frauen in der Wissenschaft, die DMV als Organisation und die Verleihung von Preisen an herausragende Mathematiker. Weitere Themen sind die DMV Topic Days zu Felix Klein, die Studierendenkonferenz der DMV, die Bachelorarbeit von Carlo Kaul zur Modellerweiterung eines ADRM für Waldbrände, die Masterarbeit von Alexander West zur Minimierung der Willmore-Energie einer geschlossenen Fläche und die bundesweite Befragung von Mathematikdozierenden an deutschen Universitäten. Die Queer in Math Day 2024 fand am Max-Planck-Institut für Mathematik in den Naturwissenschaften in Leipzig statt, um die Vielfalt in der Mathematik zu feiern und ein sichereres Umfeld für LGBTQ+ Mathematiker zu schaffen.
