This work situates infancy as a subject reference of Jiménez Lozano in his book The great stories [1991]. On the one hand, we can frame the subject of study within the great themes of the Spanish author. On the other hand, we can explain the point of view of José Jiménez Lozano regarding his own infancy in relation to his own narrative. Finally, we exemplify illustrate this analysing one of his short stories, «The tree». [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Este trabajo sitúa la infancia como uno de los temas narrativos de referencia de Jiménez Lozano en su libro Los grandes relatos [1991]. Por un lado, enmarcamos el objeto de estudio dentro de los grandes temas del autor castellano. Por otro lado, explicitamos la memoria de Jiménez Lozano sobre su propia infancia y la relación con su narrativa. Por último, ejemplificamos lo dicho analizando uno de los relatos, «El árbol».
