Abstract (English): Crisis management is a complex process requiring the integration of multiple disciplines, specialists, resources and tools for the prevention and solution of crisis events. To define and characterise the space and time period in which crisis management is applied, modelling is a common approach. It is the crisis management models that allow a better understanding of the specificities, processes and activities carried out during the different periods of crisis. These models also make it possible to identify the links between the different processes and, at the same time, to identify gaps and shortcomings, which are then examined. The article focuses on the analysis of the literature in the field of crisis management and its phases. The aim of the article is to provide a comprehensive overview of the processes and activities carried out in crisis management, while also highlighting the importance of territorial risk management and assessment in crisis management. Abstract (Slovak): Krízové riadenie predstavuje zložitý proces vyžadujúci integráciu viacerých vedných odborov, špecialistov, prostriedkov a nástrojov, pre potreby predchádzania a riešenia krízových javov. Pre vymedzenie a charakteristiku priestoru a časového obdobia, v ktorom sa krízové riadenie uplatňuje je zaužívaným prístupom tvorba modelov. Práve modely krízového riadenia umožňujú lepšie pochopenie jednotlivých špecifík, procesov a činností vykonávaných počas jednotlivých období krízy. Tieto modely zároveň umožňujú identifikovať súvislosti medzi jednotlivými procesmi a zároveň odhaľovať nedostatky a medzery, ktoré sú následne predmetom skúmania. Článok je zameraný na analýzu odbornej literatúry v oblasti krízového riadenia a jeho fáz. Cieľom článku je poskytnúť ucelený prehľad procesov a činností vykonávaných v rámci krízového riadenia a zároveň poukázať na význam manažmentu a posudzovania rizík územia v rámci krízového riadenia.
