| Abstrakt: | Optical decoders are essentially required components for creating all-optical digital systems used in optical data processing and logical operations. In this paper, a novel structure of a 2*4 optical decoder is proposed for design using a two-dimensional photonic crystal (2D PhC). The proposed decoder is based on silicon rod photonic crystals with four output ports, two input ports, and a biasing port. For logic, 0 and 1 are introduced based on the maximum, and minimum power levels (0.1P |
