| Abstract (English): | Globalization, dynamic, complex and uncertain environment on one hand and the development of information technology on the other have lead businesses to cooperate more closely through logistics networks. The goal of the article is to identify the factors influencing the functioning of a logistics network and determine the advantages and disadvantages of cooperation within a network. On the basis of a critical analysis of subject literature and the analysis of statistical data the rates of implementation of IT for managing supply chains was also analyzed. It was assumed that information technologies may contribute to the development of the supply networks and to the elimination of threats to their functioning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
| Abstract (Polish): | Globalizacja, dynamiczne, złożone i niepewne otoczenie oraz rozwój technologii informatycznych przyczyniły się do rozwoju współpracy przedsiębiorstw w formie sieci logistycznych. Z tego względu za cel artykułu przyjęto identyfikację czynników wpływających na funkcjonowanie sieci logistycznej . Na podstawie krytycznej analizy literatury przedmiotu oraz analizy danych statystycznych zbadano ponadto stopień wykorzystania technologii informatycznych w zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw. Założono bowiem, że technologie informacyjne przyczyniają się do rozwoju sieci dostaw i niwelowania zagrożeń ich funkcjonowania. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
