Abstrakt: Dentin sensitivity is a common complaint from patients during and after tooth preparation for complete coverage restorations. Techniques to reduce sensitivity during tooth preparation include immediate dentin sealing and application of desensitizers. However, managing dentin sensitivity during complete mouth rehabilitation on natural teeth can be challenging, especially for patients with dentin hypersensitivity. A technique to protect the prepared teeth during complete mouth rehabilitation using polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape is described.
