| Abstrakt: | The article looks at data collection and processing within schools districts and how technology can assist in synthesizing and correlating the data into useful information. It describes the role of Edvance Research Inc., a software development company funded by the U.S. Education Department (ED) to serve educational needs within the Regional Education Laboratory (REL) Southwest region. Edvance is creating a capacity building model that districts can use to collect data, extract relevant data, identity patterns based on statistics and address issues with students timely. These models have been used in Texas and Arkansas. |
