Index Terms: This thesis assesses hydrogen production from curtailed wind power in La Guajira, Colombia, using techno-economic modelling. Results show curtailment-driven hydrogen can be cost-competitive at €1.5–2.2/kg when surplus electricity is free, but higher costs arise when valued at LCOE. A dedicated wind farm offers lower LCOH (€2.6/kg) and more stable output. Overall, curtailed power can complement wind projects, but competitiveness requires high curtailment levels or policy support., Master Thesis, Student Thesis
